Customer challenge :

For this major project, Marais was approached by Charier TP, acting on behalf of RTE. The technical challenge was to adapt and customize the trencher 975 EVO Chainsaw to lay 3 x 225mm² HDPE conduits and 4 x 50mm² HDPE conduits. A crucial project for RTE to improve the French high voltage electric network.

Solutions

In order to match all the requirements of this innovative project, several modifications were made:

• Creation of a laying box 9 meters length.
• Positioning of the roller cable guides in accordance with the cables laying.

• Modification of the machine crumb shoe to adapt to the specificities of the project.

These technical adjustments were made respecting the time schedule given by the customer in order to start on time the job.

Results

Marais team succeeded in demonstrating its know-how and responsiveness by making the necessary adaptations on time. Our customers, present on site, were convinced by our expertise and our ability to effectively meet their needs.
